slingin' it

We tested out the sling this evening with some very willing participants. So willing, in fact, that they each fell asleep during their time in the sling, and when I'd removed them, they stood staring at me and begging to be picked up again!

Let's just hope that baby-to-be likes it just as much!

How great that you have creatures to practice with!

I think a sling was the single most important piece of baby equipment I ever owned.

How cute are you???? Seriously.

I love that sling too. What brand is it?

Oh my goodness, that is just more than cute!!! You guys could put baby in one sling and get another for the pooches for the other parent...LOL!!

So cute! :)
That sling looks really comfy. What kind is it? I'm thinking of getting a Moby Wrap myself for this kiddo.
And 32 weeks! Wow!! Not much longer now. ;)

Ha, I did the exact same thing and got nearly the same reaction -- Rocky loved it. I think she stares longingly at the sling these days... You look fabulous, by the way!

Ooooh, how cute! I dug my sling out the other day and am looking at it longingly hanging in my closet. I can't wait to put newbaby into it and hold him soclose after he is born! I'm just 4 weeks behind you and SO excited about it all!

Holding a newborn baby, and carrying him/her in the sling is one of the best feelings in the world.

I've still got my sling. I am saving it for when I have grandchildren.

So cute! (I showed the pic to NSAH, and he agreed.) I would put Small Dog in a sling, but he weighs 38 pounds, and I'd probably throw out my back.

My nephew was just born 6 weeks ago and he LOVES his sling! He likes to be held and this allows mom to be productive while "holding" him.

Now why didn't I think of that? My 20lb SUCK of a cat would have been more than willing... maybe. Oh well, too late now lol

Great picture, though.

We're still using our sling (and CG is 4.5 yrs old). Definitely the best baby gear there is (if you have a kid who likes them, that is). YOu look great!

Ditto to jo(e).

It is terrific that you have already figured out a wrap. I have a ton of carriers but could never get the hang of all the material--to my regret, because I think they are the most versatile kind of carrier.

Newborns are so snuggly! Have fun counting down....

Not that Murray and Tango aren't cute as they can be, but I can't wait to see that sling all filled with baby! :)
