1. Boys watching a football game will not eat the beautiful baby spinach with dried berries salad you lovingly put out for them.
2. They will eat undercooked buffalo wings, though.
3. Boys do not like it when the only two girls at the party sit on opposite sides of the room and talk loudly over the commentators.
And, most importantly...
4. Boys do not like it when the dog licks the inside of their Planter's canister of roasted and salted peanuts.

I was at a Superbowl party last night where there was a high def, projection TV for the serious football watchers, and a separate big-screen TV for the non-serious football watchers. This worked out because those of us only interested in the commercials could chat to our heart's content without disturbing the serious fans.
At our party, the amusing part was the hostess' little boy, who picked up the spoon for the fruit dip, licked it several times, and then put it back in the dip. :-P

that is hysterical! i can also tell you they also don't like it when you pray/cheer for a blow out so you can leave the party in the third quarter.
oh man, i don't know how you put up with it. we watched about 40 seconds of the game and that was enough for me!
Personally, I was watching the game and even asked Kid L to quiet down. However, I would have gladly eaten the salad, it sounds delicious.
So funny about the dog.
I would have happily eaten the lovely baby spinach salad.

They also get mad when you try to vacuum during the game. Tsk tsk.
I am a girl and I love football and spinach/berry salad. I think they go great together! Stupid boys.
