I just need an invisible jet, and I'll be all set

After seeing how adorable Scrivener's daughter was in her costume, and since I was obsessed with Wonder Woman as a child, I couldn't resist ordering the adult version. It has yet to arrive, and I'll be doing exercise videos and stomach crunches between now and Halloween, but I still think the costume is really cute.

It took some time to figure out Josh's costume also, since Wonder Woman doesn't really have a partner in crime, but we narrowed it down to 80's super heroes and he chose. I think he looks cute in green too.

We were equally repulsed and intrigued by these costumes, but ended up deciding they were just a little too crude.

This one just made me laugh. Long and hard.

In case you didn't catch that, she is a "Brick House" and he is a "Brick Layer".

Come on, it really is very humorous. And clever, if we're honest. But really, I can't see work colleagues with a cat* in my crotch area.

*Please note that "cat" is not the word used in the costume's description.

I think you made wise choices. The, um, "cat" image is too much.

Hahahaahahahaaaaa!!!!! A brick layer! I love it.

It would be funnier if Josh dressed up as Wonder Woman and you were the Hulk...but don't tell him suggested that. I don't want him to hate me before we meet. I'd rather offend him in person. ha!

I went as a tupperware party once. Last year I was part of a group costume. We went as Kill Bill and I kicked ass as Oren-ishi. Remind me to send you the pictures!

LOL, I can see why you passed them up as funny as they might be.

good call on the wonder woman and hulk costumes.
would you consider posting a pic of your real superheroe selves in them?
Thank god you explained the bricklayer to me, I'd still be sitting here trying to figure it out.
Hopeless, I am hopeless.

Good choices! I love that company that makes the funny couple costumes. They have some wild stuff! I've been to the big Halloween trade show in Chicago twice, and you see some awesome stuff there!

Oh, I'll definitely take some pics and post them for you all to see. I am just praying that the Wonder Woman costume fits because I'm just not sure how sturdy it's going to be, and I don't want the strapless top falling down due to my lack of, ummm, supportive body parts up there.

And Frankie, I am so upset we didn't think of that beforehand. I think Josh would have made a cute Wonder Woman, and he would have gone for it, too.

Love the costumes.

Last year we were Anthony and Greg Wiggle (Muffin Man was Captain Feathersword).

last year my brother and his wife went as the old stand by: a two person horse. never was there a more appropriate costume for my brother "the horses a$$" but the bricklayer made me giggle more than tha thought of my brother as a horses patootie!

Those are some great (and funny) costumes! I think you definitely made the best choice since people you work with will be seeing you.

Cute costumes! You will make a good Wonder Woman, especially considering your dark hair. I have a friend who is about 5' 0" and tiny who went as the Hulk last year; it was pretty funny.

(Thanks for your comment on my recent post; I'm looking forward to your e-mail!)

The electric socket one is so crude that I find it hilarious and want to find a "plug" so I can wear it. :-)

you're so lucky that your man will dress up for halloween. mine wouldn't put on a costume if it was the only thing left in the world to wear. and that sucks because halloween is my favorite holliday.
