random observations

I've been having chills all day and just realized that maybe it is the flu shot I got this afternoon. Now I remember why I usually opt not to get it.

I think that everyone who rides the subway and walks along public streets should be required to attend a class on personal space. It is not okay for you to rub up against me as we are walking by each other.

Knowing that there is a package waiting for you at the post office that you are unable to pick up may be one of the worst forms of torture.

I forgot to send our families their Thanksgiving cards. Drat!!!

The husband's last final to his last class of his first semester of business school is tomorrow! That means 6 weeks of no classes! 6 weeks of him arriving home at a decent hour! 6 weeks of chores I can make him do!

I'm sleepy and I still have hours of work to do. Sigh.

I am in complete agreement about the personal space issue. Give me room, people!

I hate when I get crowded on the T, especially since I am short and my nose is armpit level with a lot of the general population - ick!

Woohoo, here's to six weeks of forced labor!

Send e-mail cards?

I have been too lazy to send cards since Baby H came along. People are now lucky to get a Christmas and birthday card. I used to start on my Christmas cards in October.

I'm with you on the personal space. Back off, people and DON'T touch my belly. Pregnancy is not an invitation to be fondled by random strangers.

I have never heard of Thanksgiving cards!
One way to teach people not to rub up against you is to stomp on their toes. This can be passed off as accidental.
Hope you feel better soon.
Yay that you will have your guy about the house!

I don't think I could ever ride the subway, because of my "personal space" issues. I was in NYC in 2002 and I panicked at the SUGGESTION of going for a ride on that thing.

*shudders*

I always hated the flu shot. Having not had one for years now--I feel better off. They always made me feel like I HAD the flu.

And here's another thing (along the lines of personal space)--grownups should know better than to sneeze and cough in their hands and then TOUCH things!

I hope you feel better soon.

Six weeks with more time to...er...um...well...you know (wink wink)...not the personal space issue there.

OOh- having the package waiting- but you can't get it... that's almost as bad as holidays where the mail doesn't come.

Am I pitiful that mail excites me so?
